Her Voice, Her Vision

Her Voice, Her Vision was a group exhibition presented by Soundwaves Art Foundation at Soundwaves Art Gallery in Lockhart, Texas. Inspired by International Day of the Girl, the exhibition brought together women artists from different backgrounds, cultures, and artistic disciplines, celebrating the strength, creativity, and individuality of women’s voices. Through a wide range of visual approaches, the show highlighted how women artists express identity, memory, resilience, and personal vision through their work.

The exhibition also carried a broader social purpose. Soundwaves Art Foundation partnered with The Circle, a nonprofit organization founded by Annie Lennox that supports the economic empowerment of women in vulnerable communities around the world. A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition was donated to The Circle, connecting the artists’ creative practices with a larger commitment to women’s visibility, agency, and support. Zohreh Bakhshi participated in this exhibition as one of the featured women artists.
